The Bronica EC-TL was Bronica's answer to the Hasselblad, at a fraction of the price. It was the first medium format SLR to offer aperture-priority autoexposure with TTL metering, and it pairs that with an electronically controlled focal plane shutter running from 4 seconds to 1/1000s. You get the 6×6 negative, the convenience of a built-in meter, and a system that accepts the full range of Bronica S, S2, and EC lenses.
