Description Needlepoint kit for wall hanging or firescreen Acanthus & Birds is inspired by an intriguing William Morris drawing, now in the possession of the V&A Museum London. It is thought that he designed it as his first weaving project but later rejected it in favour of Acanthus & Vine. The complexity and number of colours might have been daunting for a first attempt at a new skill, but provides lots of interest and challenges for experienced needlepointers.
