
Description In 2005, the Royal Canadian Mint issued two different special $5 coins to mark the 100th anniversaries of Alberta and Saskatchewan joining Confederation in 1905. (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario and Quebec had formed the Dominion of Canada in 1867.) This is the Saskatchewan coin.
