Description This is one of the lowest mintage proof sets ever issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, with an official mintage of just 21,537.  The set was inspired by the 1953 Canadian circulation coins that originally hailed The Queen's coronation 50 years earlier.  (Princess Elizabeth acceded to the throne on February 6, 1952).
