For using Canon EOS R (RF) mount mirrorless digital cameras with Nikon S mount outer bayonet rangefinder lenses. The mount is based on Nikon S rangefinder system, may have differences in mounting and focusing in Contax-based Rangefinder lenses. Switching on "Release shutter without lens" in custom menu C.Fn5, then switching shooting mode to M (manual) is recommended. Allows focus infinity. Not suitable for Canon EOS film / digital SLR cameras and Canon EOS M (EF-M) mount mirrorless cameras.
