For using Sony E mount mirrorless digital cameras with Nikon S mount outer bayonet rangefinder lenses. The mount is based on Nikon S rangefinder system, may have differences in mounting and focusing in Contax-based Rangefinder lenses. Switching on "Release w/o lens" is needed on E mount cameras. Switching shooting mode to M (manual) is recommended. Allows focus infinity. Not suitable for Sony A mount DSLR cameras.
