The Carl Zeiss Biogon 35mm f/2 T* is the widest conventional lens made for the Contax G system and one of the most respected ultra-wides in 35mm photography. The Biogon design is nearly symmetrical, which is what gives it its defining trait: edge-to-edge sharpness with almost no rectilinear distortion, so straight lines stay straight at the frame edges where most ultra-wides fall apart. T* multicoating keeps flare and ghosting under control in backlit and high-contrast situations.
